Dr. Damianos Zenetos graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University in Prague, in 2015, obtaining the degree of Medical Doctor (MUDr.). He completed his secondary education at Othisi Lyceum in Athens from 2006 to 2009, following the Science curriculum.

Dr. Damianos Zenetos specialises in Cardiology, with particular interest in the management of acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases, as well as diagnostic and interventional cardiology. His clinical interests include the comprehensive assessment and management of cardiovascular patients, with an emphasis on contemporary evidence-based medicine and the use of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in modern cardiovascular care.
Professional and Scientific Work
From 2020 to 2024, Dr. Damianos Zenetos completed his specialist training in Cardiology at Alexandra General Hospital in Athens, gaining extensive clinical experience across the Cardiology Department, Coronary Care Unit, Arrhythmia Unit, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Echocardiography Department, Emergency Department, and Paediatric Cardiology. Prior to his Cardiology training, he worked as a Resident in Internal Medicine at Amalia Fleming General Hospital (2018–2019), served as a Rural Doctor at the Kalavryta Health Centre (2017–2018), worked at Metaxa Cancer Hospital (2016–2017), and served as a Military Doctor with the 651 Airborne Medical Battalion (2015–2016). From April 2024 until January 2026, he worked as a Cardiologist at Alexandra General Hospital, further developing his experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions.
Current Position
Since January 2026, Dr. Damianos Zenetos has been an Exclusive Consultant Cardiologist at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. He is actively involved in the clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with cardiovascular diseases, with an emphasis on comprehensive, evidence-based, and individualised cardiac care.
