Education – Academic Background
Dr. Theodosios V. Tsinas graduated from the School of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace, where he received comprehensive theoretical and clinical medical training. After obtaining his licence to practise medicine in both Greece and Germany, he began his specialist training in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Knappschaftskrankenhaus Recklinghausen, a university-affiliated hospital of Ruhr University Bochum. He subsequently continued his training at Philippusstift and Marienhospital Essen. During his specialist training, he gained experience across the full spectrum of Diagnostic Radiology, including conventional radiography, ultrasonography, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), angiography and interventional techniques. He also actively participated in on-call services covering both general radiology and neuroradiology. He subsequently obtained his specialist qualification in General Radiology from the Nordrhein Düsseldorf Medical Association and proceeded to structured subspecialty training in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at specialised centres in Germany, including Evangelisches Klinikum Niederrhein and Klinikum Bremen Mitte.

Dr. Theodosios V. Tsinas specialises in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology, with particular interest in advanced neuroimaging techniques and minimally invasive endovascular treatments. His main clinical areas of interest include:
- Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischaemic stroke
- Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms
- Embolisation of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs)
- Embolisation of dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs)
- Advanced diagnostic imaging of the brain and spine
Scientific and Research Work
Dr. Theodosios V. Tsinas regularly participates in international conferences and specialised neuroradiology workshops, maintaining an active scientific presence and continuous professional development in emerging technologies and therapeutic strategies. Since 2024, he has held the STROKE MODULE E certification of the German Society for Neuroradiology (DGNR) for the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke. He is a member of several European and international scientific societies, including:

Current Position
Since October 2024, Dr. Theodosios V. Tsinas has been an Exclusive Consultant Physician at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, where he holds medical oversight and scientific responsibility for the Department of Radiology and practises as an Interventional Radiologist. He contributes to the development and delivery of comprehensive advanced diagnostic imaging and endovascular treatment services at the Hospital.
