Education – Academic Background
Dr. Chrysostomos Konstantos graduated from the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He obtained his specialist qualification in Diagnostic Radiology in 2010 and subsequently pursued postgraduate training in Interventional Radiology. In 2018, he obtained his formal medical subspecialty qualification in Interventional Radiology, further strengthening his expertise in contemporary minimally invasive therapeutic techniques.

Scientific and Research Work
Dr. Chrysostomos Konstantos has more than 15 years of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. He has trained and worked at major hospitals in Greece, including Alexandra General Hospital, Attikon University General Hospital, and Metropolitan Hospital, where he served as a Consultant in Interventional Radiology. He maintains an active scientific and educational profile through participation in national and international conferences, publications in scientific journals, and involvement in the training of junior physicians. He is a member of Greek and international scientific societies, including the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).
Current Position
Since December 2025, Dr. Chrysostomos Konstantos has been an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, providing specialised Interventional Radiology services with particular emphasis on minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular treatments using contemporary interventional techniques.
