Education – Academic Background
Dr. Katerina Panayiotidi was born in Aachen, Germany, and raised in Limassol, Cyprus, where she completed her secondary education with distinction. She was admitted to the School of Medicine of the University of Crete on a full scholarship and graduated in 2015 with a “Very Good” degree classification. She initially trained in General Surgery at KAT General Hospital in Athens and subsequently completed her specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at the Naval Hospital of Athens, where she also served as Chief Resident.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Katerina Panayiotidi specialises in ENT Surgery, with a particular focus on rhinologic surgery, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), and head and neck procedures. Her professional interests also include aesthetic and reconstructive facial treatments, combining her surgical expertise with contemporary approaches to facial aesthetics and restoration.
Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Katerina Panayiotidi is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with her doctoral research focusing on rhinoplasty. She has undertaken further specialised training in nasal surgery and injectable treatments in Aesthetic Medicine. She also actively participates in national and international scientific conferences, where she has presented scientific work in her areas of expertise.
Current Position
Since September 2023, Dr. Katerina Panayiotidi has been working as an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, where she provides a comprehensive range of ENT services and performs surgical procedures within her specialty.
