Education – Academic Background
Dr. Mohannad Z. Al Momani is an ENT Specialist and Head & Neck Surgeon with a strong academic and clinical background. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016 and continued his postgraduate studies at the same university, obtaining an MSc in Rhinology and Nasal Surgery in 2023.
He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Thessaly, with his research focusing on genetic factors and gene polymorphisms associated with cholesteatoma and inflammatory pathways.
Dr. Al Momani completed his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens (2019–2023), having previously trained in General Surgery at Pammakaristos Hospital in Athens (2018–2019). He has also completed numerous specialised training programmes in Greece and abroad, including advanced training in nasal and paranasal sinus surgery, temporal bone surgical techniques, facial aesthetic medicine, and minimally invasive injectable treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.

Dr. Mohannad Z. Al Momani specialises in Rhinology, Nasal and Paranasal Sinus Surgery, and Head & Neck Surgery. He has particular experience in the diagnosis and management of upper respiratory tract conditions, applying contemporary conservative and surgical treatment approaches tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
His professional interests also include facial aesthetic medicine and minimally invasive treatments, combining functional and aesthetic approaches to provide comprehensive and individualised patient care.
Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Mohannad Z. Al Momani’s research focuses on the genetic mechanisms involved in cholesteatoma and inflammatory diseases of the ear. As a PhD candidate at the University of Thessaly, he is actively involved in research aimed at advancing the understanding of the genetic and pathophysiological mechanisms underlying ENT disorders.
He also regularly participates in scientific conferences, educational seminars, and specialised surgical workshops in Greece and abroad, remaining up to date with the latest developments and surgical techniques in Otorhinolaryngology, Rhinology, and Head & Neck Surgery.
Current Position
Since January 2025, Dr. Mohannad Z. Al Momani has been working as an Exclusive Consultant Physician at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. He provides specialised diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of ENT conditions, with particular emphasis on Rhinology, Nasal and Paranasal Sinus Surgery, and Head & Neck Surgery.
His clinical practice combines contemporary surgical techniques with an individualised, patient-centred approach, with the aim of providing comprehensive and high-quality ENT care.
