Education – Academic Background
Dr. Konstantinos Chras completed his early education in Greece with excellent academic performance. In 2010, he was admitted to the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannina, graduating in 2017 with a “Very Good” degree classification. During his medical studies, he was an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certified by the European Resuscitation Council, contributing to the training of members of the public and security personnel in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). He subsequently completed a Master’s Degree at the University of Patras between 2021 and 2023, graduating with distinction.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Konstantinos Chras practises across the full spectrum of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), with a particular interest in rhinology, otology, and head and neck disorders. He has significant experience in the management of paediatric ENT conditions, as well as in endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses. His clinical approach focuses on providing individualised, contemporary patient care, incorporating modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Konstantinos Chras is actively involved in the scientific community of Otorhinolaryngology, with presentations and e-posters at national and international conferences in the fields of otology, rhinology, and head and neck oncology. He has attended specialised educational programmes and training courses, including endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery and temporal bone anatomy. In addition, he has volunteered his services as an ENT specialist with mobile medical units, contributing to the provision of medical care in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
Current Position
Since September 2025, Dr. Konstantinos Chras has been working as an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. As part of his clinical practice, he provides comprehensive outpatient services, undertakes the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ENT conditions, and performs surgical procedures within his specialty. His practice is centred on providing high-quality, patient-focused medical care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
