Education – Academic Background
Dr. Nikolaos Kontozoglou completed his primary and secondary education with distinction. He ranked first upon admission to the Medical School of the State University of Bologna in Italy, where he completed six years of medical studies and graduated with a “Very Good” degree classification. Following graduation, he completed his compulsory rural medical service at the General Hospital of Lemnos. He subsequently completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, which included one year of General Surgery, three years of General Orthopaedics, one year of Paediatric Orthopaedics, as well as six-month rotations in Thoracic Surgery and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Traumatology departments, as well as in international hospital institutions, gaining extensive experience in the management of complex orthopaedic cases and reconstructive surgical techniques.
Current Position
Since October 2019, Dr. Nikolaos Kontozoglou has been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. In his current role, he performs a broad range of orthopaedic surgical procedures and is actively involved in the management of complex orthopaedic and trauma cases, providing specialised care based on contemporary surgical techniques and an individualised approach to each patient.
