Education – Academic Background
Dr. Christos Panayiotou graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in Hamburg, Germany, in 2017. He subsequently completed six years of specialist training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Limassol General Hospital (2019–2025), which also included training in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. He obtained his specialist qualification in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2026.

Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Christos Panayiotou has actively participated in national and international educational programmes and conferences in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, including the certified ATLS® and AO Trauma programmes. He is the author of the scientific publication “Operative Treatment of an Isolated, Comminuted, Biarticular Trapezium Fracture: A Case Report and Review of the Literature”, published in the Journal of Wrist Surgery in 2024.
Current Position
Since June 2026, Dr. Christos Panayiotou has been working as an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, where he provides comprehensive services in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
