Dr. Theofanis Kantas graduated from the Medical School of the University of Bari, Italy, on 31 March 2009, obtaining his degree in Medicine and Surgery. He received his licence to practise medicine in 2009 and completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology on 16 July 2018.He has continued his professional development through participation in numerous scientific conferences, educational seminars, workshops, and specialised training programmes in Greece and abroad, with particular emphasis on contemporary techniques in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.

Throughout his training and professional career, he has worked in Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Neurosurgery departments, gaining comprehensive experience in trauma management, emergency care, and surgical conditions of the musculoskeletal system.
Current Position
Since November 2025, Dr. Theofanis Kantas has been working as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. In his current role, he provides specialised diagnostic and surgical management of a broad range of orthopaedic conditions and injuries, with an emphasis on modern, individualised and evidence-based patient care.
