Dr. Vasiliki A. Chatzimanoli graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Crete in 2001. She subsequently completed her specialist training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) and obtained her specialist qualification in 2007.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Vasiliki A. Chatzimanoli has extensive experience across the full spectrum of Diagnostic Radiology, with particular interest in:
- Ultrasonography
- Conventional radiology
- Mammography
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
She has specialised experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, including the operation and clinical management of MRI services, with particular emphasis on the accuracy, reliability and quality of diagnostic imaging.
Scientific and Research Work
Dr. Vasiliki A. Chatzimanoli maintains an active scientific presence in the fields of Radiology and Medical Imaging. She has participated in Greek and international scientific conferences through presentations and scientific communications and has contributed to publications in international medical journals and scientific textbooks. Her professional experience includes working at Euromedica Heraklion from 2007 to 2012, where she gained significant experience in private-sector diagnostic imaging. From 2012, she worked as a Radiologist at Agios Rafael Private Hospital in Larnaca, while since 2013 she has also collaborated with the Prognosis Diagnostic Centre in Larnaca.
Current Position
Since April 2025, Dr. Vasiliki A. Chatzimanoli has been an Exclusive Consultant Physician at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, providing services across the full spectrum of diagnostic imaging. Her clinical practice includes particular involvement in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), mammography and ultrasonography, contributing to the delivery of accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
