Education – Academic Background
Dr. Georgios Manousaridis graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara, Romania. He completed his specialist training in General / Family Medicine at Edessa General Hospital between 2011 and 2015. As part of his continuing professional development, he has completed several certified training programmes, including the ILS Provider Course and BLS/AED Provider Course of the European Resuscitation Council, as well as the PHTLS / Bleeding Control for the Injured programme of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). In 2016, he completed specialised training in Diabetes Mellitus at the Department of Endocrinology of the University Hospital of Ioannina.

Dr. Georgios Manousaridis maintains an active scientific presence through participation in national conferences in General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, and Orthopaedics. He has presented scientific work on gastrointestinal infections, Diabetes Mellitus, surgical and orthopaedic cases, as well as mental health issues within Primary Healthcare. In 2004, he contributed to the research publication “Effect of ozone on microbial, chemical and sensory attributes of shucked mussels”, published in the scientific journal Food Microbiology. Alongside his medical and scientific activities, he has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community and voluntary service. He has served for several years as President of the Anatoli Voluntary Blood Donors Association, President of the Brotherhood of Pontians and Asia Minor Greeks of Epirus, and as a member of the Health Committee of the Epirus Football Clubs Association.

Since June 2023, Dr. Georgios Manousaridis has been an Exclusive Consultant Physician at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, providing comprehensive General and Family Medicine services. His clinical practice focuses on preventive medicine, Primary Healthcare, chronic disease management, and personalised long-term follow-up, providing comprehensive and individualised medical care to patients across all age groups.
