Dr. Dimitrios Anastasiou completed his Pediatric specialty in 2006 at one of the two largest Children’s Hospitals in Greece. After finishing his specialty, he collaborated with the Pediatric Endocrinology Department and supported the operation and research of the Tuberculosis Clinic at the same hospital. At the same time, he worked for Doctors SOS in Athens.
Between 2013 and 2014, he worked at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the P&A Kyriakou Hospital, and then he took responsibility for the operation of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, for 2.5 years. Throughout his career, he has been involved in both primary and tertiary pediatric care. He has a particular interest and experience in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Intensive Care.
