Education
The Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus is supported by individuals who strive to stay informed and improve their skills.
A primary goal has been set to maintain consistently high quality in service delivery by individuals with the best possible knowledge in their field.
The ongoing staff training program contributes to this by connecting daily practice with scientific knowledge.
Our effort aims to provide evidence-based medical and nursing services, always with a patient-centered approach. We want and aim for the hospitalized patient to remain satisfied not only with the proper medical and nursing care but also with the kind and humane treatment from everyone at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus.
The training program for the human resources includes the management of critical cases, whether hospitalized patients or those in the Emergency Department, using supplementary educational materials. Simulations of situations that healthcare professionals may encounter, both in and outside the workplace, are conducted. The simulation helps familiarize everyone with specific algorithms for handling emergency situations, ensuring effective accuracy without delay.
Occasionally, unannounced drills are carried out to assess the readiness of emergency response teams, ensuring that the staff remains on constant alert.
As a result, this leads to an increased level of safety for hospitalized patients and, consequently, ensures the quality of the services provided.
