Education – Academic Background
Dr Konstantina Kouzari is a Medical Doctor and graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of Patras, graduating in 2026 with a final degree grade of 7.06/10 (“Very Good”). As part of her medical studies, she completed her theoretical and clinical training at the University General Hospital of Patras, a tertiary university hospital. Her clinical training covered Internal Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Neurology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care Medicine, Neonatology, Orthopaedics, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Ophthalmology. During her clinical training, she gained experience in comprehensive medical history taking, physical examination and patient monitoring, diagnostic assessment and differential diagnosis under medical supervision, as well as the interpretation of basic laboratory and imaging investigations. Scientific and Research Work
During her medical studies, dr Konstantina Kouzari was an active member of the Hellenic Medical Students’ International Committee (HELMSIC), where she served as Coordinator of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP). In this role, she participated in the planning, organisation and implementation of awareness and educational activities focusing on public health, social responsibility and the protection of human rights. She also coordinated the Learning Strategies about Drugs (LSD) educational programme, organised by HELMSIC in collaboration with the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA). The programme focused on educating medical students about substance use disorders, contemporary therapeutic approaches, reducing social stigma and promoting an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to individuals affected by addiction.
Her native language is Greek, and she has a strong command of English, with an IELTS Overall Band Score of 7 and IGCSE qualification. She is also highly proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications.
Current Position
Since August 2026, Konstantina Kouzari has been working as a Physician in the Accident & Emergency Department (A&E) at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, participating in the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with emergency conditions and providing immediate medical care as part of the Department’s multidisciplinary team. The A&E Department operates on a 24-hour basis and is supported by the Hospital’s medical specialties and diagnostic and therapeutic services.
