Education – Academic Background
Dr. Chrysovalanto Georgiou-Palli was born and raised in Paphos, Cyprus. In 2006, she graduated from Kykkos Lyceum Paphos with an “Excellent” grade (20/20), ranking first in her graduating class. She subsequently entered the School of Medicine of the University of Crete in Heraklion, graduating in 2014 with a “Very Good” grade. She began her specialist training in Radiology at the General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, where she remained for 17 months and gained valuable experience in diagnostic imaging. During this period, she also completed training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine through the National Centre for Emergency Care (EKAB) in Greece, further strengthening her knowledge and skills in emergency medical care. Following successful examinations by the Ministry of Health of Cyprus, she continued and completed her specialist training in Radiology at Nicosia General Hospital. As part of her training, she undertook further clinical education in Paediatric Radiology at Makarios Hospital and gained additional experience in vascular imaging through collaboration with the hospital’s Department of Vascular Surgery. In 2021, she obtained her specialist qualification in Radiology, following successful examinations conducted by the Panhellenic Medical Association in Athens.

Dr. Chrysovalanto Georgiou-Palli has experience across the full spectrum of Diagnostic Radiology, with particular interest in:
- Paediatric radiology

- Coronary CT angiography
- Diagnostic imaging
- Emergency radiology
As part of her continuing professional development, she pursued further specialised training in coronary CT angiography at the Royal Brompton Hospital, NHS, under the supervision of Dr Tarun Mittal. Her clinical practice is characterised by professionalism, consistency and a patient-centred approach, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic care.
Scientific and Research Work
Dr. Chrysovalanto Georgiou-Palli actively participates in scientific and educational activities in the field of Radiology, with particular emphasis on diagnostic imaging, paediatric radiology and vascular imaging. She maintains an ongoing interest in professional and scientific development and in the application of modern imaging techniques, aiming to optimise diagnostic accuracy and the quality of patient care.
Current Position
Since February 2024, Dr. Chrysovalanto Georgiou-Palli has been an Exclusive Associate Physician at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, providing specialised Radiology and diagnostic imaging services.
