Education – Academic Background
Dr. Christos Kampolis graduated from the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 1990. He subsequently completed his specialist training at the Department of Therapeutics of NKUA and the 1st Department of Cardiology of the General Hospital of Nikaia–Piraeus, obtaining his specialist qualification in Cardiology in 1999. He then pursued specialised training in Intensive Care Medicine at the Intensive Care Department of the University Hospital of Rio–Patras, obtaining his qualification in Intensive Care Medicine in 2002.

Scientific and Research Work
Dr. Christos Kampolis has extensive involvement in educational and scientific programmes in Cardiology, Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He has completed specialised training in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Aeromedical Transport, as well as modern techniques in enteral and parenteral nutrition and continuous renal replacement therapy in the Intensive Care Unit. He also actively participates in Greek and international scientific conferences and educational activities in Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine. In addition, he has contributed to the authorship of a scientific textbook and to educational activities at university level.
Current Position
Since November 2015, Dr. Christos Kampolis has been an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, contributing to the provision of high-quality intensive care, the coordination of medical services, and the continuous development of the Hospital’s clinical and quality standards.
