Education – Academic Background

Dr. Emmanouil Papadakis graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Patras, where he studied from 1987 to 1994 and graduated with a grade of “Very Good”. He subsequently completed his military service in the Hellenic Navy from 1995 to 1996, serving as a physician aboard naval vessels and as an assistant at the Department of Pulmonology of the Athens Naval Hospital, gaining experience in emergency care and hospital-based patient management.

Scientific and Research Work

Dr. Emmanouil Papadakis completed his specialist training in Pulmonology – Tuberculosis at the University Department of Pulmonology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from 1996 to 2001. He subsequently completed specialised training in Intensive Care Medicine at the Intensive Care Unit of Sotiria Hospital from 2004 to 2006, obtaining the corresponding qualification. Throughout his professional and academic career, he has participated in educational programmes and scientific activities in the fields of Intensive Care Medicine and Pulmonology, with particular emphasis on optimising the management and support of critically ill patients.

Current Position

Since July 2018, Dr. Emmanouil Papadakis has been an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, providing specialised care to critically ill patients, with particular emphasis on modern intensive care management and multidisciplinary collaboration.
