Education – Academic Background
Dr. Konstantinos Politis graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Ovidius University of Constanța, Romania, in 2002. He obtained his licence to practise medicine in 2006 and completed his specialist training in General Medicine at Hatzikosta General Hospital of Ioannina between 2010 and 2014. He subsequently undertook specialised training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine through the educational programme of the Greek National Centre for Emergency Care (EKAB) in Thessaloniki during 2018–2019. He maintains an ongoing commitment to continuing medical education through regular participation in medical conferences, seminars, and professional training programmes.

Dr. Konstantinos Politis has extensive experience in Primary Healthcare and General Medicine. From 2015 to 2024, he served initially as a Consultant and subsequently as a Senior Consultant at the Vissani Regional Medical Centre and Delvinaki Health Centre, providing comprehensive medical care to the local community. Earlier in his career, he worked as a rural doctor at the Santorini Health Centre and Syros Hospital. He also served as a physician at the Open Care Centres for the Elderly (KAPI) of Ioannina and with the Epirus Football Clubs Association. His professional career has been characterised by continuous involvement in primary healthcare, emergency medicine, preventive care, and the management of patients across different age groups and with a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Current Position
Since November 2025, Dr. Konstantinos Politis has been working at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. Drawing on his extensive experience in Primary Healthcare, chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, he provides comprehensive and individualised medical care. His clinical practice places particular emphasis on prevention, early diagnosis, continuity of care, and the overall improvement of patients’ health and quality of life.
