Education – Academic Background
Dr. Alexandra Sdrolia graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, obtaining her Medical Degree with a “Very Good” grade. She subsequently completed a postgraduate programme at the School of Medicine of the University of Thessaly in “Ultrasound and Functional Imaging for the Prevention and Diagnosis of Vascular Diseases”, also graduating with a “Very Good” grade. She completed her specialist training in General Medicine at the General Hospital of Serres and Agios Pavlos General Hospital of Thessaloniki. Her postgraduate clinical training also included additional experience in Cardiology and practical training in Anaesthesiology. Dr. Sdrolia has also completed specialised training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine through the 22nd Postgraduate Training Programme of the Greek National Centre for Emergency Care (EKAB).

She has completed specialised training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine through EKAB and has attended postgraduate educational programmes organised by the Hellenic Society of Hypertension and the Diabetes Association of Northern Greece. Her postgraduate studies in ultrasound and functional imaging of vascular diseases reflect her particular scientific interest in the prevention and early diagnosis of cardiovascular and vascular conditions, complementing her extensive clinical experience in General and Family Medicine.
Current Position
Since January 2026, Dr. Alexandra Sdrolia has been an Exclusive Consultant in General and Family Medicine at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. She brings extensive experience in primary healthcare and emergency medicine, having previously worked in public healthcare settings in both Greece and Cyprus.
Her professional approach is centred on individualised care, prevention, and the holistic management of each patient’s healthcare needs, with the aim of providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and high-quality medical services.
