The Hospital Pharmacy is staffed by a clinical pharmacist, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians, whose primary responsibility is the effective provision of pharmaceutical services, aiming for the rational and safe management of medications within the Hospital. Specifically, the hospital pharmacy is responsible for the procurement, maintenance of adequate stock, safe storage, and distribution of medications to various nursing departments within the Hospital. The dispensing of controlled medications for the hospital’s inpatients is done by the pharmacists, tailored to each patient based on the dosing regimen of the pharmaceutical therapy records.
