At the Clinic, children are referred by their Personal Pediatricians for pediatric surgical evaluation. Additionally, cases are accepted that come for a scheduled appointment initiated by the parents to evaluate issues related to Pediatric Surgery. Surgical treatment is often required for congenital conditions of the genital organs, such as hydrocele, hypospadias, cryptorchidism, inguinal hernia, congenital gastrointestinal diseases, such as umbilical hernia, midline hernia, gastrointestinal system strictures, Hirschsprung’s disease, possible presence of Meckel’s diverticulum, respiratory diseases, such as tracheoesophageal fistula, diaphragmatic hernia, bronchopulmonary malformation, and many others.
