At the Radiology Department of the Mediterranean Hospital, a comprehensive range of cardiac CT scans is performed daily (including weekends) and on a 24-hour emergency basis (via the Emergency Department) to rule out acute myocardial infarction, acute aortic dissection, and acute pulmonary embolism. These include cardiac CTs, coronary CT angiography, vascular CT angiography, and CT imaging for preparation before percutaneous valve replacements (TAVI, TricValve).
Additionally, cardiac MRIs are conducted for the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases using specialized protocols, including stress CMR with regadenoson and adenosine.
With the support of specialized pediatricians and pediatric anesthesiologists, cardiac CT and MRI are also performed on children and infants. All studies are interpreted and analyzed by a Level 3-certified cardiologist with advanced specialization.
