Education – Academic Background
Dr. Eleni Mantsou graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2014 with a “Very Good” degree classification. She completed her specialist training in Internal Medicine in 2022, following five years of training at the First Department of Internal Medicine of Papageorgiou General Hospital in Thessaloniki. During her specialist training, she gained extensive experience in the management of a wide range of medical conditions and received additional training in specialised Diabetes Mellitus and Arterial Hypertension outpatient clinics. She also worked in dedicated COVID-19 inpatient units during the pandemic.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Eleni Mantsou specialises in Internal Medicine, with a particular interest in the management of chronic diseases, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, metabolic disorders, and comprehensive adult patient care. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, the management of acute medical conditions and emergencies, as well as the care of patients requiring rehabilitation or long-term medical support.
Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Eleni Mantsou actively participates in scientific conferences and educational activities in the field of Internal Medicine, with presentations and scientific contributions at national and international conferences. She has presented work on topics including diabetic foot disease, infectious diseases, endocrinological conditions, and a range of internal medicine cases. She also participated in the international SAVE-MORE study conducted by the Hellenic Sepsis Study Group. In addition, she holds BLS/AED and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications from the European Resuscitation Council and regularly attends scientific conferences and postgraduate educational programmes, remaining up to date with developments in modern Internal Medicine.
Current Position
Since July 2026, Dr. Eleni Mantsou has been working as an Exclusive Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. With extensive experience in Internal Medicine, inpatient care, and the management of complex medical conditions, she provides comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up services for adult patients, with an emphasis on an individualised approach and the provision of high-quality medical care.
