An Internal Medicine Consultant is on-site and on active duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing continuous cover for the Accident & Emergency Department and ensuring the immediate assessment and management of acute medical emergencies.

In addition, an on-call Internal Medicine Consultant is always available, further strengthening the hospital’s operational readiness and ensuring continuous medical support for emergency and inpatient services on a 24/7/365 basis.

Diabetic Foot Outpatient Service

The Diabetic Foot Outpatient Service at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus is a specialised service dedicated to the prevention, assessment, and treatment of foot complications in people living with diabetes. Diabetes can lead to serious foot problems, including diabetic neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, foot ulcers, and infections, which, if left untreated, may result in severe complications, including limb amputation.

Our multidisciplinary clinic provides comprehensive care designed to protect foot health, reduce the risk of complications, and improve patients' quality of life through a range of specialist services, including:
