Dr. Nikolaos Kontozoglou completed his primary and secondary education with honors (“Excellent”). He was admitted first to the Medical School of the State University of Bologna, Italy, where he graduated with distinction (“Very Good”) after the required six years of study. Following his graduation, he served as a Rural Physician at the General Hospital of Lemnos.
He then specialized in Orthopedic Surgery, completing the prescribed six years of training, which included one year in General Surgery, three years in General Orthopedics, one year in Pediatric Orthopedics, and two six-month rotations in Thoracic Surgery and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
After obtaining his specialty in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, he worked as a private physician, sports doctor for the National Basketball Team “Panellinios G.S.”, and Consultant at private hospitals, including Athens Medical Group’s Peristeri and Paleo Faliro clinics and the Metropolitan Hospital of HHG Group in the Pediatric Orthopedics Department. He also served as Chairman of the Disability Committee for the OAEE Fund and as a Consultant at the state hospitals “King Salman Specialist Hospital” and “King Khalid Hospital” in Saudi Arabia.
Since 2019, Dr. Kontozoglou has been working at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, performing a wide range of procedures in Orthopedic Surgery.
