Dr. Mairoula Arvaniti, Radiologist, graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, General Hospital “Georgios Papanikolaou.”
She holds a doctoral dissertation. By decision of the Ministry of Health, she was a member of the three-member examining committee for obtaining the specialty title in Radiology in Northern Greece from 2015 to 2020. She also served as a member of the three-member examining committee for obtaining the specialty title in Radiology in Northern Greece, Thrace, Epirus, and Thessaly (2020-2021).
She has completed six post-graduate training programs in modern imaging techniques (echo, CT, MRI), including one in the United States at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She became a member after an interview and submission of her CV to the CTII course in the protection of human research subjects (USA).
She was the main speaker at the American conference Southern Pediatric Radiology Society Annual Meeting, September 19-21, 2003, Swissotel Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A., on pediatric radiology. She also played an active role in the three-member organizing committee of the Southern Pediatric Radiology Society Annual Meeting held in Greece in June 2006, with great success and participation from internationally recognized pediatric radiologists.
She actively participated in the five-member organizing committee of the 22nd Panhellenic Radiology Conference. She has organized and spoken at least 15 workshops and specialized conferences. Dr. Arvaniti has delivered 87 talks at round tables and conferences in Greece and abroad. She has served as president in 41 round tables and conferences in Greece and abroad. She participated in writing 7 medical books. She has made 254 presentations at Greek conferences, 42 at international conferences, and has 52 publications in Greek journals and 21 in international journals. She has attended 380 Greek conferences and workshops and 40 international conferences.
