Dr. Konstantinos Chras – Otolaryngologist (ENT Surgeon)
Dr. Konstantinos Chras was born in Greece and completed his primary education with excellent academic performance. In 2010, he was admitted to the School of Medicine at the University of Ioannina, from which he graduated in 2017 with a grade of “Very Good.” During his medical studies, he served as an active BLS instructor certified by the European Resuscitation Council, training civilians and members of security forces in CPR.
After completing his studies, he fulfilled his military service as a Medical Soldier in Messolonghi and Xanthi, receiving in 2017 a Diploma of Exceptional Acts from the Hellenic Army. He subsequently worked as a Rural General Practitioner at the Vasiliki Health Center in Lefkada, gaining significant experience in primary healthcare.
In 2019, he began his specialization in Otolaryngology at “Evangelismos” General Hospital of Athens, which he completed in 2024. During his five years of specialty training, he acquired extensive clinical and surgical experience across the full spectrum of General ENT. As part of his training, he was also educated at the “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital of Athens, gaining substantial experience in the management of pediatric patients.
In October 2024, he successfully passed the national board examinations for the Otolaryngology specialty conducted by the Panhellenic Medical Association and officially obtained his specialty license.
Alongside his residency training, he completed a Master’s Degree at the University of Patras (2021–2023), graduating with honors (“Excellent”). He has participated in specialized hands-on seminars, including the 6th Seminar on Endoscopic Sinus and Paranasal Surgery and the 9th Temporal Bone Anatomy Seminar at the experimental laboratory of “Evangelismos” General Hospital of Athens.
Dr. Chras maintains an active presence at scientific conferences, with numerous e-posters and presentations in Otology, Rhinology, and Head and Neck Oncology, contributing to his continuous professional development.
He has worked as an ENT specialist at the private IASO Clinic in Athens and as a volunteer ENT physician with the mobile medical units of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, providing medical services to residents of remote areas.
Since September 2025, he has been a member of the medical team at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, where he provides comprehensive Otolaryngology services in both outpatient and surgical settings, while continuing his scientific education and participation in conferences and advanced training programs.
