Dr. Dimitrios Ntoufexis is an oncologist at the Oncology Department of Mediterranean Hospital since 01/09/2021. He specializes in the treatment of cancers of the urinary system, melanoma, breast, lung, and sarcomas.
He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1999. He trained in Internal Medicine at the A’ Preclinical and Pathological Clinic of the University of Athens at P.G.N. “LAIKON” (2003-2006). He then continued his training in Pathological Oncology at the Anticancer Hospital “Agios Savvas” (2007-2010). In March 2010, after examinations, he was awarded the title of the specialty of Pathological Oncology.
From 2010 to 2021, he worked as an attending physician at the Oncology Clinic of the General Hospital of Larissa, and from May to December 2010, he worked as an assistant attending physician at the Oncology Clinic of the University Hospital of Larissa.
Some of his research and clinical work have been presented at international European and worldwide conferences, as well as published in international reputable journals. He has participated as a co-investigator in many clinical studies and has delivered scientific lectures at numerous Greek conferences. Since 2015, he has represented Greece at UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists) in the field of Pathological Oncology.
He is a member of the scientific societies HESMO and ASCO.
