Dr. Christos Kampolis graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 1990.
He specialized in the Therapeutic Clinic of NKUA and the 1st Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Nikaia-Piraeus, where he obtained his specialization in Cardiology (1999).
He then specialized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University Hospital of Rio – Patras, where he obtained his specialization in Intensive Care (2002).
He has attended specialized training programs such as:
- Training program in Diving – Hyperbaric Medicine (1991)
- ATLS, Aeromedical Transportation, Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, Techniques for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy in the ICU.
Additionally, he has participated in Greek and International Medical Conferences:
- Greek Cardiology Society, Greek Society of Intensive Care Medicine, European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), ISICEM (Brussels), and the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).
He has also contributed to the writing of a Scientific Textbook (2009).
Throughout his medical career, he has developed notable teaching and educational work in the fields of:
- Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Intensive Care at the University Hospital of Patras and Frederick University.
He has worked in ICUs in both the private and public sectors in Athens (Euroclinic of Athens and Evgenidion Hospital – NKUA).
Since 2016, he has been continuously working at our Hospital.
He is the Director of the ICU at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus and the Director of Medical Services.
