Dr. Alexios Misegiannidis was born and raised in Athens. He is a specialist cardiologist with extensive experience in the field of cardiology. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom (2006), followed by a Master of Science at the University of Aberdeen (2007), and then obtained his Medical Degree from Charles University of Prague in the Czech Republic (2013), which was recognized by DOATAP with an “Excellent” grade.
He began his professional career by serving as a rural military doctor in the 547th Airborne Battalion (2014). He then worked as a resident in Internal Medicine at the Metaxa Cancer Hospital until 2016 and subsequently at Agia Olga General Hospital. He completed his cardiology specialization at the university clinic of Alexandra General Hospital in 2022. From 2022 to 2025, he worked as a specialist cardiologist for the Bioiatriki Group (Bioclinic). Since 2025, he has been working at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus.
Dr. Misegiannidis is certified in Advanced Life Support (ALS provider) by the European Resuscitation Council (2024) and has specialized in Modern Echocardiography Techniques since 2025.
He is a member of both the European and the Hellenic Cardiological Society.
