Education – Academic Background
Dr. Konstantinos Dodos graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and subsequently specialised in Pulmonology, completing his specialist training at Papanikolaou General Hospital in Thessaloniki and the General Oncology Hospital of Kifissia. His clinical training focused on the comprehensive management of respiratory diseases within secondary and tertiary hospital settings. He also holds a Master’s Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD from the same University, providing him with a strong academic background in scientific research and clinical Pulmonology.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Konstantinos Dodos’ clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of respiratory diseases, with particular emphasis on an individualised approach to patient care. His practice is based on contemporary, evidence-based medicine and the integration of the latest scientific developments into everyday clinical care. His aim is to optimise diagnostic and therapeutic approaches while prioritising patient safety and quality of life.
Research and Scientific Work
Dr. Konstantinos Dodos is an active member of the Panhellenic Medical Association, the Kozani Medical Association, and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). He regularly participates in scientific conferences and has contributed as a reviewer for international medical journals, supporting the advancement of scientific research in Pulmonology. His research activity has been recognised with an Excellence Scholarship for his doctoral dissertation from the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (ELKE AUTH). He is proficient in English (C2) and French (C1) and has a good command of German (B2). In addition, he uses specialised data analysis and research tools, including R, RStudio, and RevMan.
Current Position
Since September 2025, Dr. Konstantinos Dodos has been working as an Exclusive In-House Consultant at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. In his current role, he provides specialised medical services focused on the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory diseases, while contributing to the continuous enhancement of patient care.
