Education – Academic Background
Dr. Ioannis Konstantinidis graduated from the Medical School of Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, in 2013, having completed the University’s English-language medical programme. Following graduation, he served as a Military Doctor in the Hellenic Army and subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in General Surgery, Neurology, and primarily Neurosurgery at major hospitals across Greece. These included Amalia Fleming General Hospital, G. Gennimatas General Hospital, Nikaia General Hospital, Asklepieio Voulas Hospital, KAT General Hospital, Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki, and Papanikolaou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. In June 2025, he obtained his specialist qualification in Neurosurgery. He also holds certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Dr. Ioannis Konstantinidis has gained extensive clinical experience through his long-standing specialist training at major tertiary and teaching hospitals in Greece. Throughout his training, he was exposed to a broad spectrum of contemporary neurosurgical practice, participating in the management of complex neurosurgical cases and high-acuity emergencies. His experience across Neurosurgery, Neurology, and General Surgery has contributed to a comprehensive approach to the assessment and management of patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. He maintains an active interest in continuing medical education and in keeping up to date with current developments, surgical techniques, and contemporary approaches in the field of Neurosurgery.
Current Position
Since November 2025, Dr. Ioannis Konstantinidis has been working as a Neurosurgeon at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. He provides specialised services in the diagnosis, clinical management, follow-up, and surgical treatment of neurosurgical conditions, with a patient-centred approach based on current scientific evidence and contemporary neurosurgical practices.
