Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Hospital provides immediate and comprehensive medical, surgical, diagnostic, and nursing care through a fully integrated and efficiently coordinated healthcare delivery system.

Located in Limassol, at a strategically accessible location with direct access to the A1 motorway, Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus serves patients from across Cyprus. The Hospital features state-of-the-art facilities and is equipped with the latest-generation medical technology.

 

The Accident & Emergency Department (A&E) operates 24 hours a day, with Doctors from key specialties on site at all times, supported by the Hospital’s full range of medical services. This ensures the prompt and effective management of emergency cases of all levels of severity.

General Healthcare System (GeSY)

Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus was the first hospital in Cyprus to participate in the inpatient phase of the General Healthcare System (GeSY).

As a fully integrated hospital, it operates a 24-hour Accident & Emergency Department (A&E) with the continuous on-site presence of Specialist Doctors, including General Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cardiologists, Radiologists, Paediatricians, and Intensive Care Specialists.

The Hospital also features a dedicated Outpatient Department, where Doctors across a wide range of specialties provide scheduled consultations and outpatient care. Both the Outpatient Department and the Hospital are supported 24 hours a day by the Clinical Laboratory, the Radiology Department, and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The Hospital also operates its own Inpatient Pharmacy, staffed by three Pharmacists, as well as a Histopathology Laboratory, where histopathological and cytological examinations are performed.

The Operating Theatres Department comprises ten fully equipped operating theatres, including two state-of-the-art Hybrid Operating Theatres designed for advanced interventional procedures and complex surgical operations, supported by cutting-edge medical technology.

As part of the General Healthcare System (GeSY), members of the public may also register with one of the Hospital’s Personal Doctors, ensuring direct and convenient access to high-quality specialised medical services.
