{"id":6506,"date":"2024-06-27T16:16:10","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T13:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.medihospital.com.cy\/job\/radiology-technologist\/"},"modified":"2024-06-27T16:16:10","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T13:16:10","slug":"radiology-technologist","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/www.medihospital.com.cy\/en\/job\/radiology-technologist\/","title":{"rendered":"Radiology Technologist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus<\/strong>, a state-of-the-art private hospital in Limassol (Cyprus) in a growth trajectory and participating in the new General Health System (GESY) of Cyprus, is seeking <strong>Radiology Technologists<\/strong> for full-time and permanent employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform radiological examinations on patients to produce high-quality radiographic images, including specialized examinations such as CT, mammography, interventional radiology, and MRI, which provide diagnostic information to doctors.<\/li>\n<li>Operate specialized equipment such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and CT scan machines.<\/li>\n<li>Check radiographs and identify the need for additional images\/radiographs.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate procedural details such as the duration and intensity of radiation exposure and adjust the device settings.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that patients are properly prepared for procedures and assist in addressing any concerns they may have regarding the procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Properly position patients and imaging equipment to achieve the best possible imaging of the area under examination.<\/li>\n<li>Take all necessary precautions to protect patients during the examination, including radiation protection.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in quality control checks of radiological equipment, ensuring cleanliness of machines (and the surrounding area) and verifying that all equipment is regularly checked for malfunctions.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on new techniques and technologies as required by professional bodies and participate in work evaluation programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holder of a recognized degree in Radiology or Radiography.<\/li>\n<li>Registered with the Cyprus Radiographers and Radiotherapy Technologists Registration Council.<\/li>\n<li>Holder of an annual license to practice the profession.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in computer use.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, teamwork, and responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Hours:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Outpatient:<\/strong> 40 hours per week as follows: 08:00 \u2013 16:00 (Monday \u2013 Friday)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inpatient:<\/strong> 40 hours per week with a rotational schedule: Morning: 07:00 \u2013 14:30, Afternoon: 14:00 \u2013 21:30, Night: 21:00 \u2013 07:00<\/li>\n<li><strong>On-call system<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attractive salary package (based on qualifications and experience)<\/li>\n<li>Monthly productivity bonus (after 6 months)<\/li>\n<li>Participation in continuous education programs and career advancement opportunities in a dynamic hospital environment<\/li>\n<li>3 additional sick days per year<\/li>\n<li>7 days of training leave per year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates are requested to send a complete CV to the email address <strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@medihospital.com.cy\">careers@medihospital.com.cy<\/a><\/strong> or contact by phone at <strong>+357 25 200 112, +357 25 200 116, +357 25 200 117<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All applications are treated as confidential.
