The Paediatric Department of the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus is covered by almost all sub-specialties that help to investigate, diagnose and provide therapies to a wide range of paediatric cases.

The specialized doctors covering the Department are distinguished for their high scientific level, their long experience in clinical paediatric and neonatoly services, as well as their continuous training in the field ensuring the provision of high level services.

Always in cooperation and communication with the family paediatricians, the therapy plan is agreed and planned.

At the same time, a Specialized Paediatric outpatient clinic is operating within the Hospital facility, with the full support of the Hospital’s laboratories such as, the Clinical Laboratory and Radiology.

The new Paediatric Department of the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus is under constant development and is a Reference Center for paediatric cases in need of hospitalisation.

Chief of the Paediatrics and Neonatology Department is Dr. Athos Nikolaou with many years of clinical experience in the field.

The Paediatric Department cares and treats both outpatient and inpatient cases under the supervision of a Paediatrician.

On-Call Duty

The Paediatricians of the Hospital cover the Accident and Emergency Department of the Hospital based on an "On-Call" System, every day around the year.
