The Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus can provide healthcare services and hospitalize patients being reffered by the State, though depending on the condition of each case the hospital may approach it differently.

For a case to be acknowledged as «State Referral» not requesting any financial safeguarding from the patient in advance, the patient should be accompanied by a Signed State Referral Declaration from the Public Hospital or the Ministry of Health.

Without possessing such a document, the hospital is obliged to follow the admission process treating the case as “Private”.
