Dr. Symeon Koumpanis completed his primary and secondary education in Kastoria with distinction (“Very Good”) and was admitted to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which he graduated with a general grade of “Good” after the required six years of study. Following his graduation from the medical faculty, he practiced medicine during his mandatory rural service at the General Hospital of Kastoria.
He began his specialization in Orthopedics by completing his year of General Surgery at the Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki, his Pediatric Orthopedics training at the Gennimatas General Hospital of Thessaloniki, and his pure Orthopedic specialization at the Asklipieio General Hospital of Voula in Attica.
Subsequently, he practiced Orthopedics at the General Hospital of Kastoria for two years and later moved to Athens, where he collaborated with the Athens Euroclinic in Ampelokipi, Mediterraneo Hospital in Glyfada, and the Central Clinic of Athens in Kolonaki.
Since then, Dr. Koumpanis has been working at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, actively performing a wide range of procedures in Orthopedic trauma and chronic conditions in the field.
