Dr. Panagiota Kosmidou, Director of the Otolaryngology Clinic at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, is a distinguished physician with extensive experience in the field of Otolaryngology. Prior to taking over as Director of the Otolaryngology Clinic at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, she served as a scientific supervisor at the German Oncology Center and as deputy director at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus.
Dr. Kosmidou holds a Doctorate from the University of Medicine of Patras and a postgraduate degree in Surgical Anatomy. She has completed numerous seminars and training programs that further enhance her specialization in the field.
She is the scientific director of the research program “Improvement of Externalized Medical Practices through Artificial Intelligence (AI-BASE) in Tracheostomy,” contributing to innovation and the improvement of clinical processes.
