Dr. Nikolaos Haidos completed his secondary education in Athens in 1993. He obtained his Medical degree in 2000 with a grade of “Very Good” after studying for six years at the English-language departments of Semmelweis University in Budapest and Gr. Popa University. This was followed by written exams to recognize his degree in Greece and the completion of his military service. In 2002, in Athens, he started his specialization in Anesthesiology at the General Hospital of Nea Ionia Konstantopouleio, and in 2008, he obtained the title of Anesthesiologist after successful written and oral exams.
In May 2008, he began his specialization in General Surgery, which he completed in 2014 after training at hospitals in Athens and Cyprus (General Hospital of Limassol). After obtaining the title of General Surgeon, he specialized in breast oncologic surgery at hospitals in the UAE and the United Kingdom between 2014 and 2018.
In September 2018, he was appointed as a General Surgeon specializing in breast surgery at the General Hospital of Nicosia, where he worked until September 2021. Since then, he has been employed as the head of the Breast Surgical Oncology Department at the Mediterranean Hospital, where, in collaboration with the hospital’s specialized scientific team, he manages the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with breast diseases.
