Dr. Konstantinos Vayios Mytilekas graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001. After completing his compulsory rural service (agricultural doctor) and military service as a doctor in the 1st Special Forces Brigade in Drama, he started his 9-month specialization in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Veria. Subsequently, he specialized in Urology after a two-year training at the Urology Department of the General Hospital of Edessa (2005-2007) and another two-year training at the Urology Department of B’ IKA-ETAM Hospital in Thessaloniki (2007-2009).
In 2009, he won the annual scholarship from the Greek Urological Society, which allowed him to train in advanced urodynamic studies and Functional Urology for six months at the Metropolitan University Urology Clinic, San Carlos Complutense University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. In June 2010, after both written and oral exams, he received the European Board of Urology (FEBU) recognition with a grade of 9/10.
From June 2010 until November 2022, he was a salaried Academic Associate of the B’ University Urology Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at Papageorgiou General Hospital, while also maintaining a private practice in Thessaloniki. Since December 2022, he has been a member of the Urology Department at Mediterranean Hospital in Limassol.
