Dr. Irini Zafiropoulou, a neurologist, graduated from the Medical School of Charles University in the Czech Republic (1994-2000) and specialized in Neurology at the General Hospital of Athens “Evaggelismos” (2012). From 2013 to 2014, she served as an Assistant Specialist at the Neurology Department of the General Hospital of Heraklion “Venizelio,” and for the past six years, she has worked as a Senior Specialist at the Neurology Department and the Acute Stroke Unit at Mediterraneo Hospital in Glyfada, while also maintaining a private neurology practice (2016-2023).
She has presented multiple oral presentations at international and local conferences and has been involved in several studies. She has also published articles in international scientific journals. She is a member of the Hellenic Neurological Society, the Hellenic Headache Society, and the Neurological Society of Cyprus.
Since the beginning of 2024, Dr. Zafiropoulou has joined the team at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, where she works in the field of neurology, providing outpatient services, patient care, managing emergency neurological cases, as well as working in the Neurophysiology/EEG Laboratory.
