Dr. Christos Angelidis was born on December 26, 1977, in Athens, where he was raised. From 1997 to 2004, he studied at the Medical School of the University of Debrecen in Hungary. He began his specialization in internal medicine at the General Hospital of Sparta from 2009 to 2011 and continued there as a cardiology resident in his final year. Subsequently, he worked at Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas” between 2011 and 2015. He received his cardiology specialization title in September 2015 from the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
As a certified cardiologist, he worked as a scientific associate at the Second University Cardiology Clinic at the University General Hospital “Attikon” for a year. In 2016, he moved to the United States, where he worked at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, as a clinical associate in the angiography laboratory for one year. During his time at Yale, he was awarded a scholarship by the Hellenic Cardiology Society.
He continued his career as a scientific associate at the Second University Cardiology Clinic at the University General Hospital “Attikon” from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, he worked as an adjunct cardiology registrar at the General Hospital of Sparta from 2018 until April 2022. In parallel, he earned his Ph.D. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2020.
Currently, Dr. Angelidis has been working as a specialist cardiologist at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus since April 2022.
